WELLER
DORFF
ACTOR | SINGER | DIRECTOR | ARTISTIC LEADER
Hi! I’m Weller.
I’m a New York City-based actor, singer, and director originally from Colorado Springs, CO.
Growing up, I found my joy in reading and telling stories. It began with pretending to record audiobooks in my childhood living room, and gradually spread to my elementary school playground or a library corner. My love of books manifested as a desire to see and be part of the stories I read, ultimately leading me to the vibrant theatre community in Colorado Springs.
A few great mentors set me on the path to pursue a career in the theatre industry, leading me to the Syracuse University Department of Drama. At SU, I’ve honed my skills and received many exciting opportunities, including performing at Syracuse Stage and serving as Artistic Director of Black Box Players, SU’s student-produced theatre company.
I am passionate about reexamining classic works and, with extensive experience in workshopping new pieces, developing bold new stories for the stage.
So come on in, take a look around, and feel free to reach out!
PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT
I am interested in telling individual stories that reflect the universality of the human condition. I approach my work with diligence, creativity, patience, and a collaborative spirit, striving to share stories infused with honesty and empathy.
UP NEXT
I’m beyond excited to return for my second summer at Cortland Repertory Theatre! This summer, I will serve as the Producing Associate and play ‘Man 1’ in Baskerville and ‘Rooster Hannigan’ in Annie.
